ESSLY · YOUR INFORMATION & YOUR RIGHTS

Terms of Use

Effective date: 24 October 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of Essly, operated by Looloo Technology Co., Ltd. (“Essly”, “we”, “us”). By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Essly.

1. What Essly provides

Essly helps college applicants discover stories, organize application writing, develop outlines and drafts, and receive AI-generated feedback. It is a writing-support tool, not a university, admissions authority or guarantee of acceptance. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by universities, Common App or UCAS unless expressly stated.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 and legally able to agree to these terms, or have the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian where required. Use your own Google account and accurate information. Keep your account secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. Signup may require an invitation; guest access and features may be limited.

3. Your writing and responsible use

You retain your rights in material you provide. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it to the service providers needed to deliver Essly’s features, as described in our Privacy Policy. Only provide material you own or are entitled to use, and avoid unnecessary personal information about other people.

You are responsible for checking every final response for accuracy, originality, your own voice, prompt fit and length. Follow each institution’s rules on AI assistance, authorship and disclosure. Do not invent experiences, achievements or qualifications, plagiarize, impersonate another applicant, or use Essly to mislead an institution.

4. AI limitations

AI questions, drafts, rewrites and evaluations may contain errors, omissions, unsupported details or outdated guidance. WriteHuman rewrites may also change meaning. Review and correct outputs before use; factual accuracy is not guaranteed. Scores are approximate editorial feedback, not admissions predictions. We do not guarantee admission, scholarships, uniqueness, or any result from AI-detection tools. Verify application requirements using official university or application-system sources.

5. Acceptable use and invitations

Do not bypass access controls, payment gates or generation limits; disrupt the service; upload unlawful or malicious content; or attempt to access another user’s work. Invite only people you know who would reasonably expect your invitation. Do not send spam, sell invitations or use someone else’s email without permission. Invitation limits and delivery status are shown in the service.

6. Fees and payments

Any price and what it unlocks will be displayed before checkout. When enabled, the current draft-access offer is a one-time US$99 payment, not a recurring subscription. Any applicable taxes or currency-conversion charges are governed by checkout and your payment provider. Future offers may differ; changes do not retroactively alter a completed purchase.

For billing problems, duplicate charges or refund requests, contact support@essly.ai. We review requests based on the circumstances and applicable consumer law. Nothing here excludes statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer rights. A one-time purchase does not promise perpetual operation of the service.

7. Availability and suspension

Features depend on third-party providers and may change, be interrupted or become unavailable. Keep your own copies of important writing. We may limit or suspend access to address misuse, security risks or legal obligations. Where practical, we will explain the issue and allow it to be resolved. If a paid feature cannot be provided, contact us about an appropriate remedy under applicable law.

8. Ownership and third parties

Essly’s software, branding and other service materials belong to their respective owners. You may use generated outputs for your applications subject to these terms, provider restrictions and institution rules. Outputs may resemble content generated for others and may not qualify for copyright protection. Links and university logos identify sources or destinations and do not imply endorsement.

9. Responsibility and legal rights

We provide the service with reasonable care, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation, error-free output or a particular application outcome. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses or admissions decisions resulting from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be limited, including mandatory consumer protections.

10. Contact and updates

Questions, complaints and support requests can be sent to Looloo Technology Co., Ltd. at support@essly.ai. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve concerns. We may update these terms and will revise the date on this page; material changes will be communicated where required by law.
